Happy to read the very nice article (in Dutch) in Adformatie magazine about the ‘Instant Poster Power’ campaign Revolver did for ad agency Lemon Scented Tea and Océ. Check the full campaign on InstantPosterPower.com.

Have a look!

“A lot of the times, the story is being sacrified for the media”

I found a very interesting report on a session that writer Barbara Vance did today at South by Southwest about transmedia storytelling. Barbara Vance is an author in the classical sense of the word, and perhaps particularly because of that, she gave some critical notes about transmedia storytelling. The biggest issue perhaps is that in classical stories, the storyteller takes the reader/viewer from point A to point B. In transmedia storytelling however, the audience has a variety of entry points, which creates one of the biggest challenges: “every entry point has to be connected. If it’s hanging out, it’s not only useless, it kills the story”. The biggest mistake according to Barbara? “A lot of the times, the story is being sacrified for the media”

I reposted the full text of the report below: read more >>

Canal Plus has launched a new advertisement that showcases the art of storytelling… Great way of showing instead of telling your audience how captivating your content is.
