JIJ BENT…
…. enthousiast, gedreven, ambitieus. En je bent op zoek naar een inspirerende stage op het gebied van media productie en digitale media. Dan hebben wij de perfecte stageplaats in Rotterdam, vlak naast Centraal Station in een creatief verzamelgebouw.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
• Gedurende het hele productieproces ondersteun je het team. Dit is zowel op de set maar ook de voorbereidingen en tijdens de postproductie
• Je bent betrokken bij brainstorms en vergaderingen, je denkt mee over concepten, formats en nieuwe filmplannen
• Je ondersteunt de dagelijkse werkzaamheden op kantoor. Ja, soms inderdaad boodschappen doen of naar het postkantoor. Maar dat doen wij zelf natuurlijk ook
• We geloven in begeleiding en zelfstandigheid dus er is veel ruimte voor eigen initiatief en als je goed bent (en dat ben je natuurlijk) veel eigen verantwoordelijkheid
WIE BEN JIJ?
• Ten eerste, je hebt een enorme ambitie om te werken met media, communicatie en productie
• Ten tweede, je hebt een enorme ambitie om te werken met media, communicatie en productie
• Je bent enthousiast, optimistisch, zelfstandig, ondernemend en communicatief.
• Je bent sterk in het regelen en voor elkaar krijgen van zaken
• Je hebt een vanzelfsprekende interesse in alles wat met film, media, bewegend beeld en online te maken heeft
• Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Nederlands en idealiter ook Engels.
OVER DE STAGE
• Meeloopstage van minimaal 4 dagen per week
• Je werkt samen met het hele team
• Aanvang in overleg
• Stageperiode 3 tot 6 maanden
• Stagevergoeding in overleg, maar marktconform.
• Iedere dag overvloedige lunch. Want liefde gaat door de maag.
• We zorgen voor genoeg inspiratie op het gebied van film, nieuwe media, muziek, kunst, fotografie en motion graphics om je van de straat te houden.
WIE ZIJN WIJ?
Revolver is een creatief media productiebedrijf. We produceren speelfilms en documentaires, onafhankelijke en soms experimentele producties, commercials, videoclips en vooral veel digitale en online media. We werken voor allerlei platforms, van televisie tot bioscoop en internet en met een breed team van creatieven: van regisseurs en schrijvers tot fotograven en animatoren. Onze klanten zijn reclamebureaus, vormgevers, culturele instellingen en leuke, bekende merken. Recente projecten zijn oa. de lange speelfilm LOTUS (draait nu in de bioscoop), CLUB ZEUS (net in de bioscoop gedraaid), de Belgische film 22MEI, documentaires zoals CRIPS, STRAPPED’N’STRONG en HAAGSE SJONNIE, videoclips voor The Opposites, Winne, Kempi, fashion films en campagnes voor o.a. Philips.

And below they present themselves:
I’m Dave Bras, 24 years old. Currently I’m in the 3rd year of the course International Media & Entertainment Management in Breda. This practical program teaches me to gain a future management position in the media and / or entertainment industry. Currently I live in the south of the Netherlands in the picturesque town; Roosendaal. Every day I travel to Rotterdam to strengthen the team of Revolver.
I keep myself busy with snowboarding, music (I play the saxophone) and watching films / docu ‘s. Furthermore, I prefer to spend my free time within my social life. Have a nice drink with friends / girlfriends are very important in my opinion. From here I often gain inspiration and creativity, which can be very usefull in this industry.
Revolver is in my opinion a very good production company with well-known work such as the documentaries ‘Crips, Strapped ‘n’ Strong’ and ‘Haagse Sjonnie’, musicvideos for artists like ‘Kempi’ and ‘Quintino’ and commercials for a lot of nice brands. I am sure that I will learn a lot at Revolver within the period of 5 months. I hope to gain a good insight view of what the work of a production company contains and how everything works.

And I am Jasper Bakker, one of the lucky ones who’s got the opportunity to do an internship at revolver. Already on his way for a week, Jasper is a bachelor of communication student with a love for filming and photography.
With some private productions for several surf/snow related clients Jasper will be working on a surfmovie project we just started. The upcoming months he’ll also be working on other productions and marketing/PR related business. This will be, of course, aside of making coffee and getting lunch for the rest of the crew.
