Aurore, the short film by Jean-Julien Pous and Denis Huneau became Month Winner of the NPS New Arrivals Competition and will therefore be shown at the International Filmfestival Rotterdam. Congrats to Jean-Julien and Denis!

We are very happy and proud to say that Jean-Julien Pous joins our pool of talents, welcome young padwan!

A short introduction to Jean-Julien: born in Wuhan, China, but spent the rest of his childhood in Bordeaux, France. Attended the regional music conservatory and took painting classes. He followed his family to Hong Kong for highschool. Back to France in a computer science institute, his facination for moving pictures will lead him to the prestigious Supinfocom Valenciennes, school for animation and SFX.

He graduated with the short animated film Switch and took part to an exchange program with the Vancouver Film School. His econd short, Seeking You was screened and featured in numerous places around the world, including the International Filmfestival Rotterdam. It won the NPS New Arrivals Award in the Netherlands, Best New Arrival award at the International Filmfestival Rotterdam and was part of the official selection of the Short Filmcorner at Cannes, OneDotZero Festival, Raindance Festival and many others.

We love his visual approach, its poetical, very strong and often surreal and figurative. Just check out his work on our talent page and be amazed.

Currently, Jean-Julien is shooting a highbudget music video in Hong Kong for a new big American music act…
